Extremely impressed by this picture
Not only it is very expressive and I like his attitude and posture
But also by its quality and all the more that I just realized that it is a scan of a slide shot 6 years ago and not a digital picture
Well, hats off for this excellent achievement

Hello Frans - An excellent portrait. The face is nicely framed by the turban which drapes across the shoulder following the line of the man's arm. His direct gaze is penetrating and fully engaged with your lens and the fine focus on eyes and beard is perfect. Top class shot and a treat to see. best regards rosemary

For me it's the unflinching and searing gaze of the subject that makes this picture. It's so strong I find it almost embarrassing to look at for too long! Did you ask permission or just point and shoot? It's obvious he knew all about your intentions, but it seems also you were using a fairly long lens. Whatever, it's a great portrait.

another wonderful portrait! The man is very artfully framed in the cadre but also by his turban and hands. How nice the way he leans on his crossed hands! The soft pastel colours of his clothes make a stark contrast with his wrinkled face, prickly beard and penetrating eyes. This glance is hard to forget! He seems very streetwise and confident. Congratulations and thanks!
All the best
