Photographer’s Note

We stopped along the road to visit a little market.

Here I liked these ladies chatting while children were waiting and getting bored: this happens every where in the world! Market is the place and the moment of the day when women meet and exchange news about families and neighbours. In my village it is the same!

I liked also the sitting lady wearing lots of jewel but only one sandal.

Very sensible image. The subject is well shot, and colourfull too.
The women is a leisure mood and the kids in a boredom..
Fantastic is this journalistic eye !!

You've captured a real mosaic of faces. All these women have their own stories.

A wonderful shot - and no one notices the photographer... I like this kind of colourful pictures of daily life very much! They really show life - and no models or something like that.

Bella e coloratissima composizione. anche a me piace molto questo formato (tanto da averne pubblicate due, e una proprio oggi). Io non viaggio ma sai che, ultimamente, potrei pubblicare anche io una foto così? Proprio vicino a casa mia c'è un negozio di gente del Bangladesh che veste esattamente come i soggetti della tua foto.

Nice tight conversation framing, maybe it's just an impression I get from the unusual height relative to the width but the people in your photo look amazingly tall, more than I'd expect from there. Nice and rich colors, and here special mention to the blue of the small gate.

Buon Giorno Livia,
The shy expression of pleasure as the girl in the red sari chats with her friend is priceless. The dour look of the old woman is a strong contrast. Ordinarly I like strong contrasts but I think I would have been tempeted to crop down to the two womaen chatting. Your detail is so so sharp that the image hold up quite well in a smaller crop, even when it's been reduced for TE.

I'm looking forward the group's photos from the Frascati mneeting. I expect they'll be stunning in such a beautiful area. SAG, Pat
