Photographer's Note

Impressive Torana of the Bahu Temple in the Sas-Bahu temples complex in Nagda. The site is beautiful located beside a lake few kilometres away from Kailashpuri/Eklingi. The origin of Nagda is at VII c.AD, the twin vaishnava temples are from 10th and 11c.and are popularly known as SAS and BAHU, they are buil in quarzite rock and specially the SAS temple is plenty of beatiful carvings from Ramayana as well as the main indian gods: Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma and other motives.

Nagda is only 24 kilometres far from Udaipur but not much tourists visit the site. The complex of 103 Shiva temples in Eklingi four kilometres from Nagda is also a must.
