Photographer's Note

This is the air-conditioning unit in the private quarters of the raja. Water flows down the inclined ramp and forms a small pool below the room level. It all results in cooling. I believe the idea originated in Persia long before the XVIIth century. Peacocks adorn a chattri over the waterfall.
