Photographer's Note

This mosque, within the fort, was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It is a tribute to the uninterrupted rule by the Mughals from 1556 - 1638 AD. (Access was not offered on my visit.) The Jami Masjid in Nagaur, built by Akbar the Great, is some kilometres away in the town proper.
