My third post of an haveli in Mandawa, a town situated in the Shekhawati region, in Rajasthan.
Mandawa was included in the old caravan route, this way attracting many traders. The fort and a large number of havelis (private mansions decorated with magnificent frescoes, which are common in this region)are still there today, as a testimony of the importance of the town during that period.

This was a unique art-detail's architecture, Ana, and pitty about the decay and abandoned condition it has.
The wall painting are admireble, and hope for a restoration work to take place one day, can be a jewel...

For sure, those facades are unique! They are richly decorated and offer lovely&colourful frescoes.
It looks like this haveli has been abandoned... the broken window is an attractive detail.

Hola Ana, It is very picturesque view now, in this rather bad state, but how it must have been beautiful when new... i like this doors and windows. Superb composaition. I always spent one day looking for some forgotten havelis in Mandawa. I think I remember this one too.
