Photographer’s Note

Khuri is a little village off Jaisalmer in India. It's near the Pakistan border. This picture is from Khuri. The camel guys, most of them Muslims have their loyalties divided between the two countries. The picture, I know, is grainy. Unfortunately, I didn't have an SLR.

To bad the picture is so grainy. Maybe you could try some Neat Image, levels and saturation and a bit sharpening in PS or similar. I would crop out a bit of the sky too.
(If I had the programs at my work I would try a WS for you)
I like the subject, the landscape and light very much, and think this beauty deserves a chance.
What a journey this must have been. I am dreaming about seeing the desert some day, and try a camel ride.

Grain set aside (I like Chris's WS), it's a very nice composition of a beautiful landscape. It's all in curves : the little bumps on the sand made by the wind, the dunes, the camels walking in curved line, even the clouds...
You really take us somewhere different. Thanks for sharing.

The image is 2 good and note writee itself says about a lot.I belong to rajasthan and depend upon your note there is bollywood movie(Indian Cine Stream) filmed on same topic.Its named as "Refugee".
