I have chosen this as my first upload for ages - Biding her time on her door step watching the world pass by. There isnt much happening on the streets of Jojawar, no wonder she looked bored. If you know my photos you know that I cannot resist old walls and foreign script, I also like how the blue of the wall comes back in her sari and bangels.

Just like you, I'm a fan of signs and lettering on walls, as it inform in a very attractive way about the origin of the photo and add a local flavour.
The way you have frame your subject is interestingly balanced with this script and the pattern of her dress, as well as her bracelets complement the colour of the wall.

This is a nice and colourful portrait of this beautiful dressed woman with a fine background of an open door and the Hindi (?) writing on the wall.
Best regards, Paul

you had a fine eye to see the harmony of colors between the bangles and the wall, and I could add with the blue flowers of the skirt too!The red weil gives a splendid contrast, and I like very much the pose of the woman ,and like you,the scripts on the wall!Superb!

Nice to see you back. Contrary to this woman I find boring Indian towns very interesting: Maybe she is not exactly posing, but she just sits there very well. The colours of this photo are certainly very appealing.

Where had you been?...its been a long time!
This is a picture taken in the beginning of the year and you're posting it now...I would like to believe you've lots of pictures like this waiting to be posted. Life is very hectic for me workwise and I have been struggling to post even twice a week sometimes.
Do you know what the writing on the wall says? (That's an interesting pun...'writing on the wall'..) - "Mobile phone sim card, charger and batteries available"
You flattered me in your last crtq to my GANESHA maker post..but you know how much I respect your words

what is she thinking? I don't really think that she's bored - more like she's in her own dream world. Bet she has some ideas... Yes, you're right that blue comes back on the bangles and the sari.
Fantastic! Great shot!
Have a wonderful night and take care,
