Mellow Yellow this may not be.......I couldnt help thinking of a field of dafodils when I saw this man. He had been watching me taking photos and guessing it was his turn, stood and retied his turban in a most ornate fashion and smiled. What else could I need.
(For Wanda and her "Turban" series.)

A wonderful incisive portrait of the man in the mellow yellow turban. I like the dark background, suppressing any distracting elements. Warm regards,

This one is superb! Humorous, yet beautifully clear in every detail! Soft subdued light, with colors that are realistic yet vibrant...really nice! Great work, cheers,

Hi Elaine. This one made me smile the moment I opened it - very charming subject and good smile from the guy, cheerfully wearing his rather elegant yellow turban. Fine portraiture work.

I was following and enjoying Wanda's serie since a few posts. Great that you add your own. The yellow turban, his smile, his moustache, all very good. Daffodil, indeed, now that i read you note :)

What a perfect addition to my turban theme, thank you!
That yellow is like a bright ray of sunshine and goes with his wonderful smile. Great sharpness on his face and on the turban. What a great story too that he retied his turban in such a spectacular fashion for you, and he fills the frame so nicely too with his yellow turban from corner to diagonal corner.

Hi Elaine, I found another jewel in your galerie. I like it very much with that half smiling face. Great mustache, he really does know how to project himself. TFS, ALex

I take benefit of a visit in your gallery to return backwards and comment this one. That's an admirable portrait with a great sharpness and vivid colors. Well framed, really eye-catching, with a surprisingly soft smile under the moustache... I fall under its spell. Congratulations!

Old people are always good subjects for photography. You took a nice shot with good DOF management in which we can see every details of the face. Well done!
