Photographer's Note

Moving on from Pushkar, Jodhpur came in a different surprise of Blue painted houses. The beleif goes that Blue is the color of Brahman, so `Holy' and this quarter of Old Jodhpur near the Mehrangarh Fort is inhabitated by the upper caste Brahmins. In India, caste racialism is perhaps no more relevant, atleast in urban areas.
