Photographer's Note

Another photo of Jaisalmer, captured early in the morning in the old city, within the walls of the old fort. The old Jailsalmer is an incredible place because of the old fort, but also because of the magnificent architecture and the old havelis.
Here we have one of the old streets, seen from the window of one of those havelis.
At the top we have several chillies and a lime, to keep away the bad spirits.

Hello Ana,

A very nice POV, an arch with chilies and lime are in silhouette framing the old town. In contrast, you have a very old town with a very warm color. The contrast of those two makes this image stunning one. The way people live there is very informative. And the details captured of the old houses are very intriguing. The image is very sharp, more look , more I discover something new, it is a very successful approach, very creative way to manage a frame of photo.

J'aime beaucoup le point de vue et le cadrage vertical qui permet d'inclure dans l'image ce qui ressemble à des piment qui sêchent au grand air.La lumière frappe de plein fouet cette habitation et en fait bien ressortir tous les détails.

un soggetto molto bello che la luce ha reso ancora più piacevole rendendo il colore della pietra molto caldo... tonalità tenui che colpiscono ed un POV dall'alto perfetto per esaltare questo tipo di architettura. Complimenti.

This is an interesting shot for me in many ways.. I like the way you framed the shot n the most I like is the inclusion of the chillies n lime that I wished to photograph n had no success :)

Beautiful shot, great composition, the partial arch makes a delightful framing creates a private, quiet little world. Lovely play with shadows in subtle morning light, colors and textures. Very effective compo in high vantage point and good diagonal beyond the frame. You have managed to retain plenty of detail in those buildings, the hanging is an excellent addition absolutely catch the eyes in, a great focal of interest. Awesome rich colors and the contrast is stunning. This is splendid image, great effort, Congrats

Olá Ana,
los chiles y la lima colgando del arco, supuestamente para mantener alejados los malos espíritus, son un detalle muy explícito sobre las creencias y supersticiones populares en este país. Y su inclusión en tu encuadre, en un contraluz bien tratado, añade mucho interés a la composición, además de la arquitectura que vemos en la calle, bajo un bonito juego de luz y sombras.
Es un bonito trabajo, muy bien realizado.

que linda fachada adiante, ume stilo bem diferente e ineteressante. ótima luz e enquadramento, o detalhe do espanta-espíritos-maus é bem legal. linda foto, cheia de atmosfera de viagem, me dá vontade de ir pra lá..
