Galtaji: Monkey Temple, Jaipur

This is one of the most surreal places I have visited in India.
The Galta Temple could well be Jaipur’s very own lost city. A delightful almost-secret, well-kept from mass tourism. This place was granted of a big wish: water in this semi-arid region.
Here I am walking to the main temple which is perched between two cliffs in a rocky valley. During my visit the complex was a mixed picture of monkeys, dogs, solitaire and groups of singing Hindu women that bath almost naked in the holy water.
In this picture I have tried to keep the real daylight (which is not really great) but it is very close at what it was and it helps to give that kind of surreal touch to the scene!! All critics are welcome, please..
I have posted another version in the workshop
