The magnificent Amer Fort, outside Jaipur.
Sitting dramatically on top of a hill, Amer was the capital of the region till the Kachwaha rajputs shifted base to Jaipur. Today the fort is an enchanting place that can be accesed by both a hike or on elephants. The views are breathtaking.
