Photographer’s Note

Well not much to say about this shot, we were just wandering around the streets of Jaipur and saw this wonderfully textured decaying wall and these bicycles, thought it would make a nice shot.

Jaipur is named after it's founder Jai Singh II who came to power at the age of 11 when his father died.

J'aime bien les photos de vieux murs décrépis où l'on voit les différentes couleurs de peinture. La texture est bien rendu par le bel éclairage. Les bicyclettes complète le tout pour une belle scène.

Superb shot Wanda. I guess this wall would have attracted me as well...the textures and hues are really eye-catching. The bike is a welcomed addition even though it is a but centered form y taste. Really good though, I like it.

Oh Wanda, I wish someone had walked through that archway and given a bit of life to that lovely textured wall. As it is it works as a still life, with some telling details, the old electricity meters hanging off the wall.

light is good everywhere on this frame and I like the two bikes there, it looks like an optical illusion.

Seeing bicycles we quickly guess that the photo results from the India, but what i like the most is that decayed colors and walls all around the photo.

I am quite an awe how you see beauty in the mundane. Wonderful! I would have surely, passed this place without a second glance...yet you saw a photo opportunity & how fine it looks! The 'couple' of bicycles against the peeling wall, against the door, ajar. A great still life!

I missed this one but now when I have discovered it I think the etxtures, hues and tones are absolutely fascinating and very well compsoed. Nice composition Wanda and a lovely abstract like ambience
