Hi Valter a superb posting in BW.. even the contrast of tones in the rocks give fine detail.. a most inbteresting note.. the design, forethought and wealth of the man who designed it and built it was out of this world. A lovely balance between man and nature. well posted have a great day Rich

Another beautiful shot in b&W. Nice view of the temple with clear reflections. Every detail is well captured. The surrounding rocks give a nice depth. Sharp and nice image.

The temple in POV shows it's best situated position between hills, and mirrors on water.
Just imagining a colors version that must be vivid as well.

This is a beautifully composed shot with incredible detail and sharpness. Lovely strong contrasts too - black and white certainly works well with this photograph.
I love the detail in the temple and in the arches on either side, as well as the beautiful reflections on the water.
I agree with you - the Canon 10 -22mm lens is wonderful - unfortunately mine only fits on my old 20D and doesn't fit the 5D. Maybe I need to buy a 7D too? :)
P.S. So you are going back to India soon? I wish you a safe trip and look forward to seeing many more fine pictures!

beautiful picture. It´s incredible how the temple is nestled between these two peaks. It was a brilliant idea to do it in B&W.That makes the details and contrast are more emphasized. The outcome of your work is fantastic.Definitely a beautiful place to visit.
My Best Regards

Very nice b&w capture from Indıa. Very good layout and perfect sharpness. Interestin to see where they have built the temple, just like a water dam.

Impressive picture of a beautiful architecture. I like the POV showing a large view, the sharpness and the light management. May be just a remark, I would have preferred a color pict in order to show the rich colors of the temple, rock, sky and water.

This is an interesting temple, built into the rocks in an unusual way. The architectural details are very attractive and the b&w conversion is successful. The greyscale and contrasts are very good.

It is unfortunate that the title above this photo is the "Temple of the Sun God". It is not the Surya Temple. For that you need to walk much further past this structure, and up the hill. The Sun God Temple is accurately labelled at the site. I would encourage you to identify this structure accurately and change the title.
