Sometimes these small details just make great picture. Here (to foreign eyes) it is the exotic lettering that add extra charm to it. Simple, sweet and effective.

I can only read 11-520-Agra, that should probably be, road no. 11 and 520km to Agra, yet to be covered. And sure the other written letters say the same in Hindu, or the other local language.
The way you had posted this, makes this look as rising from the sand, almost covering completely.

Distance are indeed very big in the subcontinent Miro, these boards with the number of Km to reach a town or city are everywhere and are really useful if you travel by jeep or bus, have a good sunday
