Photographer’s Note
This is my final portrait in my series the turbans of Rajasthan.
I came accross this man in the market at the end of the day in the town of Amber selling his goods and I liked his nice features and his bright red turban.

Hi Wanda,
what a nice portrait, the red turban is an eyecatcher and the man seems relaxed, means he must have enjoyed your little photoshooting ;-)
Image quality is superb, but I wouldn´t expect anything else from this lens, a great portrait lens! Very nice one Wanda, I really like it!
Take care

Hello my dear Wanda
How splendid potrait photo this is !?
Nice his expression, color management. F/8 and 1/80 are a little controversial, do you have any reason for these choices ? Anyway Congratulation on your great job !

Hoi Wanda,
Groetjes,
Henk

Hello Wanda,
I have appreciated your series of Rajasthani turbans. They are all nice portraits and an interesting reminder that there are so many ways to wrap a turban. The character of this old man is strong enough to hide the fact that the background is slightly disturbing. I have been to India long enough to know how difficult it can be to find a proper, neutral background.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Wanda,
The older the better, we see many children portraits or images on TE but I prefer by far portraits of older people because they have a lot more dignity when looking at the camera, not sure aout what to do with the hand here, keep it, crop it... I like the red turban of course !
Have a nice day JY

hi Wanda
I take a look at your profile countries, and wow! you have traveled to many in the southern hemiphere, and India 176 photos!
Impressive and I wonder how long was your period of travel to India?
One of the strong portraits about India is that people wear strong colors to make it so striking like this headwear.
[History of turbans - People first began to wear Turbans in the Sudan according to Leo Frobenius a German historian.]
Very nice sharp portrait shot. He looks handsome.

Hi Wanda,
You have superb series of turbans. I like the details and colors your picture. Perhaps should you have chosen to show all of the hand or to crop it out...
Cheers
Marc
