Photographer’s Note
"Who attacked India on 26/11 2008?" - is a question which can be answered even by a school girl in India. But the question is - Why does the neighbour constantly unleash terror on Indian Soil?
The reason is simple. It is not only the size of India that scares its neighbour. Its also the way India is governed, that is a matter of zealousy and awe for its neighbour.Inspite of its size and diversity, India has successfully done away with feudalism and democracy is yielding immense results. On the contrary, its neighbour still struggles to decides who runs the country - the Mullah or the Military. (Mullah - Head of Islamic Monastic Order)As neither has given civil peace and stability. Its just zealousy and constant fear that a stable India will be a strong India and a strong India is what scares the Neighbour.
Thus it is in his interest that India constanly remains under the dark clouds of terrorist attacks.BUT IT CAN NEVER HAPPEN.INDIA & INDIANS HAVE AN INDOMINABLE SPIRIT.
The Leopold Cafe is a large and popular restaurant and bar on Colaba Causeway, in the Fort area of Mumbai, India, located across from the Colaba Police station.
It was one of the first sites attacked during the November 2008 Mumbai attacks.(26/11)
The Bullet mark is left like this on the mirror to add to the legacy of LeoPold, and has become part of Daily Life.
RESTAURANT WAS BACK IN BUSINESS IN 4 DAYS.
JAI HO! JAI HIND.

good work.would have liked it more if you had chosen art form as a genre, however see great scope of framing to enhance overall viewing pleasure.
keep it up!!

Only thing I would suggest to give the pix more depth by increasing the value of aperture (f). A little bit more darkness around the bullet marks would have given better horrific sense.
full marks from my side

Hello Satyakki,
A remarkable documentation, a reminder of what terrorism leaves a mark on our lives.

Hi Satyakki,
C'est très impressionant cet éclat de verre ! Le cadrage est fort et la mise en valeur très équivoque. J'aime beaucoup la luminosité concentrée au centre du cadre qui contraste avec les bords sombres. C'est bien vu !

Dear Satyakki,
From the thumbnail view, I thought your image was a geological formation.
I do not know the answer to how to stop terrorism. To respond in kind results in others being killed including the innocent. Maybe Muhatma Ghandi had a better approach?
Thank you for another prospective,
Ray
