An open roof vestibule at Kopeshwar temple at Khidrapur (kolhapur district, Maharashtra, India). The roof is intricately carved and supported by 48 pillars. There are 8 demigods installed near the roof as symbolic guardians of 8 directions.
This monument is constructed in 6th century AD. It represents Art from of three dynasties, Cholas for south, Shilahars of west and Yadavas for central India.

Interesting POV of that open roof. Is that opening really a symbolic door or a title of your invention?
The sculptures in the light seems to be rich in details, it could be interesting to have more close shots.
