The left part in the dark emphasizes the light on this young rabari woman. Not easy but you've been very successful in the present situation, Caleb
Quality as usual, simply no need to mention
Best regards
patrick
PS 2 days from Bhuj !!?? You were in Pakistan !?

Hi Caleb!
Nice vibe to this one. She is beautiful, and almost has a regal sort of feeling. Lovely light and clarity on her face, and her amazing clothes! The sort of cavern feeling in the left works for me, and creates a mood. Something I can learn from. Nice work as always! Regards,
Steve

Technically you score full marks for getting the right rush of colors, light control, depth of field. But I feel this photo looks like a forced portrait, as if the lady in the picture in not very happy(otherwise people in India can't hide their joy on spotting a foreigner).
second small observation is... the lady is little too off-center, she is almost on the corner of the frame without proper headroom.

C:
Proud, strong, young, full with dignity.
Beautiful girl, great pair of eyes, strong facial expression. Love her pose, her colourful clothing, the way she stands, the light what is coming from the right, but even more how you present this...a typical Colman, with other words an excellent portrait.
You keep on surprising me with all these shots...your database must be loaded with this kind of images.
Take care,
H:

Hi Caleb,
Her intense gaze is mesmerizing, her folded arms perhaps mean distance, her costumes and accessories are divine. Your tech settings appear optimum. Regards...Danilo

Hello Caleb,
A good portrait of this young woman and her incredible clothes and jewellery. Perfect light as always. But the comments by ajayrawat remind me how women in this area were ordered by men to pose for me, even though they themselves were very reluctant. It made me feel uneasy.

hi Caleb
During the week I had a TE visitor from Australia and we brought up your work for discussion, so you know how much influence you carry here in our small world :). And no, you wont get extra points just for that!
As I follow your footsteps of travel through China and now India, it is curious to see how you perceive the way of things in these places. For example, in this one, it must be the colorful costume, for me. Things that you cannot see or find in any other part of the world, are good enough value for photography as feature.
I like this post of the girl. Very serious look. The colors are dazzling. But I can feel the light is not good here.
Any gamma or level adjustment?
tfs, bill

Hi Caleb, Where do you find all these great subjects??? Despite having spent a bit of time in India, I don't think I saw as many potential subjects as you have images of them. Composition on this one works for me, and I reckon the light is fine too, with just enough illumination of the BG to show us her world, but not detract from her. nice work as usual. cheers, Steve

no, light was not your ally definitely therefore to my taste the room in the background looks a bit disturbing with the details on the wall - i cannot be more specific why but i feel some kind of anxiety...

Hello Caleb.
Another deftly composed portrait. The girl is almost but not quite too far to the right; the composition is exquisite, with the large dark area containing sufficient detail to be interesting and dark enough to highlight the subject. Maybe the top of her head could use a little more space above, but otherwise a lovely portrait shot in possibly not ideal light conditions. Nice tones in the skin, and a penetrating look in her eyes. Well done.

Andrew

Hello again my dear Caleb
Great photo!
Her colorful dress is outstanding but her little sad expression and pupil is very very attractive.
Congratulation on your great job !
Thanks for sharing and best regards
