And with the call at the Hawa Mahal, I ended a pleasant sojourn in the former princely state of Wadhvan. I asked the driver to stop outside a gate for one last photograph from the walled town. We had not had lunch, so I asked that we stop somewhere enroute back to Ahmadabad. In any event, we reached the hotel before 5 PM. On the next day, a Monday, I planned that we would head out early for the south - to Khambhat, Lothal and Bhavnagar.
