Dans les villages autour de Bhuj vivent des communautés tribales (jat, ahir, meghwal …) et les nomades rabari, tous réputés pour leur artisanat de textiles imprimés.
Les femmes de la communauté sont extrêmement réputées pour leurs costumes et leurs bijoux
Elles sont passées maîtres dans l’art de tisser la laine et le coton et fabriquent des gilets, des sacs/bourses et des objets tels que des bracelets, des jouets ou des ceintures en petites perles de toutes les couleurs

In the villages in the vicinity of Bhuj are living tribal communities (jat, ahir, meghwal …) and the rabari nomads, all famous for their printed textiles handicrafts
The Meghwal women are renowned for their exuberantly detailed costumes and jewellery.
Masters in weaving wool and cotton, the women do exquisite embroidery and appliqué work
They make wall hangings, waistcoats and pouches in Kharek Stich and do 'Moti Bharat' or beadwork on handheld fans, bracelets, toys and belts.

Bonsoir Patrick,

Tu excelles autant sur l'Inde que sur le Maroc.
C'est un très beau portrait bien coloré et quant au petit flou sur la main il est plus une expression du mouvement qu'une gêne.
J'aime aussi beaucoup l'intensité du regard.

Perfectly focused on the eyes. Bit of movement seen in hands and feet slightly out of focus -- doesn't matter because the expression is commanding and colours are brilliant. Good record of her fantastic outfit.

J'aime bien celle-ci, avec ce point de vue en surplomb de la femme, qui lui donne un air sauvage et éffarouché. J'aime bien le flou de son mouvement, qui démend le figé du regard, et la ribambelle de couleurs. Par contre, la lumière me semble trop forte dans le bas de l'image, je crois que tu aurais pu resserer le cadrage, quitte à couper les pieds...
