Photographer’s Note

Rice is a staple for a large part of the world's human population, especially in East and Southeast Asia, making it the most consumed cereal grain.

This photo was taken last year during the winter, which they call the rabi season.

These women were transplanting rice and stopped for few seconds when they noticed me taking their picture.

Peut être ma préférée des ta serie dans les champs... Lumière optimale donc couleurs fortes mais naturelles, netteté parfaite, jolies reflexions dans l'eau pourtant boueuse... La compo est en plus bien équilibrée..

Je n'ai pas voulu critiquer cette image depuis mon poste de travail au boulot car le PC est mal réglé et l'image paraissait un peu trop claire mon jugement aurait été faussé.
De chez moi ça passe mieux.
J'apprécie ces tons chauds.

You have a wonderful collection of daily life shots. I like this one too. A case of watching you.....watching them :D I like the fact you left space to include their whole reflections in the water and also managed to avoid the women overlapping with the buffaloes.

Very nice farmer's daily life shot, they look happy but most probably are not owning most of their future income to the money lenders. It's every idyllic with a nice reflection. Due to your perfect light management you have produced vibrant colors full of sunlight. Well done
