Photographer's Note

The temple is reached via a short, winding, dirt road up a hill and off NH4 south of Old Goa and the intersection with NH748. It may be seen framed by this colourful gate; the shikhara to the right peaks over the trees. The administrative facilities are to the left and right of where our car is parked. There was a young priest on duty the day we visited, and he was delighted to show us the deity in the garbha griha. This was my first trip to India, (as well as first digital point-and-shoot) and my record-keeping was not up to scratch, very frankly. So I have no note of to whom the temple is dedicated and what precisely is the proper name for the temple. Forays on the Internet since have not been particularly helpful. I can report that the geo coordinates for this complex to use with Google Earth are: 15.27.11.44 N and 73.5747.00 E
