Photographer’s Note

I was very impressed by the colourful and beautiful outfits of the women in India. The clothing is also very practical for them, letting the slightest breeze be felt which would be very welcome in the soaring mid-day heat. Being able to make a fresh bottle of water appear out of nowhere might be another benefit.

As best I can tell, this woman is carrying paper to be recycled (see my "x-ray" version as the workshop here).

what an impressive place to live, and your note is so exact, Dan!
the X-ray image (btw, excellent title) shows also the weight she has to lift and carry.
bautiful palette, both so naturally elegant before this decayed wall.

Touching composition, Dan. The offering of water to a parched bicyclist from a woman loaded with an immense burden. Smiles speaks the universal language. Very nice moment. Judy

I love this posting, in particular the “x-ray” WS. It is a very dynamic view with superb human interaction. For the WS, it is amazing what a bit of photoshop can do. Well done.
