Abandoned In Candolim, a photo from Goa, West

On the main road in Candolim (Bardez - Goa - India), one can see this abandoned property on the left hand side while driving towards Calangute.
Not a very happy scene for the eyes trying to explore Goa with a Holiday mood.
May be someone who has traveled to this place can tell the story behind this, as I tried to ask locals but didn't get any information.
