Sur la plage de Calengute à Gao, juste avant de prendre la mer le soir, les pêcheurs vérifient les filets, assis dans leur embarcation posée sur le sable. Lorsque l'eau des vagues passera sous la coque, ils partiront pour une dure nuit de labeur au large de la côte....

Hi Alain, this is a very original and eye-catching composition. Your good POV framed the man very well between boat and oars, while also making the focus point of the photo the tools of his trade. The excellent light also helped to bring out the texture of the wood. Nice one! Regards,

Hi Alain, this is lovely for the details and the textures. And also for the memory, I lived for many years in Goa and the fishermen and their nets were part of my everyday life. I know Goa has cahnged a great deal since the time i was there, so its good to see --somethings never change.

Je ne sais pas comment tu t'es positionné pour ce résultat, mais le cadrage est absolument génial, et la lumière magnifie cette tranche de vie.
La scène est captivante, avec le pêcheur emmêlé dans ses filets, et la manière de présenter son "outil" de travail, avec les rames en avant-plan, renforce la composition.
Bref, superbe.

A very fine shot. Great depth is achieved by the placement of the oars in front of the focal point of the fisherman and net. Lovely light and great sharpness. It's an excellent exposure. The shape of the net and the sunlight and shadow on his skin are very pleasing elements. Perhaps it is a pity we can't see his face.

ta composition est très originale, avec ce grand angle qui nous prend à la fois les rames et le bonhomme. le fait qu'il porte sont filet au niveau de la tête est très artistique.
Très belle gestion du fort contraste!

Very creative and very effective composition here. I like the moment of capture as well with the man raising the net up. His arm seems to match the wooden oars of the boat. Great lighting as well, and interesting desaturated colors. Nice work.

Une superbe composition avec les rames en premier plan .Le geste du pêcheur est très bien saisi et son filet ressemble à un voile toute en délicatesse .Le rendu des matières est excellent et les couleurs magnifiées par cette lumière.J'aime beaucoup

Simply a great point of view looking inbetween the oars and the boat at the man so busily working with his fishing nets. The light coming from the one side is absolutely lovely for this wonderful and creative shot.
