Photographer’s Note
Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple,
Thiruvananthapuram
READ IT THREE TIMES, CLOSE YOUR EYES AND REPEAT !!!
in the case you fail, and I`m sure you will, you have to give me two points............hahahahahah,
or try again later, maybe after a few beer or some good wine..........
the more easy version is :
Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple,
Trivandrum
Trivandrum is the colonial name for Thiruvananthapuram.
A closer view at the temple can be seen here.
I decided to post the wider view ,because I like a lot the color of the water in the foreground ,caused by the tree`s shadow.
Nobody can tell me that Thiruvananthapuram is a nice town and the only highlight is this temple, only accessable for Hindus.
some more details can be seen in this yideo.

Hello Leo,
A good wide view of the temple entrance building indeed, well shown with its reflection behind the beautiful dark colours of the basin, and the Kerala palm trees are well included.
Regards,
Paul

Hi Leo, A little difficult, but I can do it:)) The names in South India are indeed long and strange, and often double. Very nice gopura with palms, beautifylly reflected. I prefer closer view.

Hallo Andreas,

Hello Andreas.
seen from this distance we cannot have an idea of the amount of details this temple has on its facade, as it's shown on video you put on the link.
I also like the closer view you show on the WS but understand your choice with this wider view not only for the water colors but also for the details about the city's daily life we may see with this wider view.
I like a lot this simmetry caused by the reflection.
Cheers.

wow...this scenery is splendid. Brilliantly prresented with excellent colours and the sharpness and details of every building is so well seen. The reflection and the clouds in the water make this composition so outstanding.
Excellent view.
