A Shot from the Pulicat Lake... Pulicat Lake Borders Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu... its a backwater lagoon with a number of islands and a famous site for birdwatching... there is a kinda of an island(seperated from the mainland by the backwaters!)The main one with about 200 families the island can be reached by a ferry. Goods are transported to the island on these carts for a few rupees... what looks like a flat ride is infact not... as the carts proceed they go into depths where the buffaloes are almost completely submerged...The carts keep ferrying to & fro...the sight of the carts crossing over brings in a lot of the sweet memories of the golden past amidst the sounds of the blaring horns and rushing drivers...
PP : Converted to B&W as the colors where dull (mid day water & sky) cropped to add length (signifying the long road ahead) Image not very clear as shot from a moving boat with a 10x Optical

C'est une très belle photo N&B, rythmée par les 3 chariots et les boeufs. Il y règne une certaine simplicité qui me plait beaucoup

this surely needed much more attention from the TE members than it received till now. In my opinion it is a very good composition. the conversion to black and white may not be that good, but it is a very good one in terms of composition. nice work friend.

This one and your next...
A touchy essay upon human work.
The ethos of it.
A hard work. Eternal work.
A work that has no end. A work for the work itself.
I know...It must hurt - sometimes!
Stay sensitive, Pracas
