Another scene from Valparai.A country house in the backdrop of mountains.This is a village scene..You could see women washing her clothes & a small child standing nearby.You can also see electrical cables in around..Though the place is around 3000ft,in the mountains of western ghats,all the villages are electrified and many houses has Television through DTH satellite receiver.The Valparai has few dams for water reservior and electricity generation which is been distributed to the plains.Hence Valparai and nearby plains is flourishing quite well.

Nara - i like this photo of the house in the country - its such beautiful quality. The natural scenary is well captured an framed - i love the sky colors, and the edge vignetting.

Hi nara,

Beautiful shot and excellent POV and colors. Framing is good but composition, BG and MG is really good. but it would more better if you add a FG to it.Need some sharpness..

I always like to see country side photos. I think that this is the best way to see the real country, without the world globalization effects. You did very well.

A good documentary from this rural environment!
This is a well composed presentation, where I notice the woman and the kid being busy doing their stuff...
Seems like a nice place to grow up, peaceful surroundings!

I'm dreaming of returning there, the life is probably extremely simple but pure and without some worries of the big cities.
Your note is useful as I had not noticed the mother and the child ; personally I prefer people more visible on the photos but nonetheless it is a precious document and the colours are beautiful.
