Morning was little showering at Valpara. I caught an `Auto Rikshaw' to go some interior of Valpara. I could see Very beautiful nature of Valpara... full of greenery... every hills put on smooth trasparent bra with fog and green skirts... every valleys are filled with dreams...
Meanwhile the driver took a short break...
i was too enthusiast and energetic by seeing the surrounding nature...
I was loosing my patience and i took my camera...
Shot the road in front, what i could do while sitting in the vehicle...
I saw a coming bus and some people, all are in showering...
(Western ghats are the row of mountains at the southwest of India. Its south end separates the states Kerala and Tmail Nadu. This south portion is almost continuous and have thick green beautiful forest.
The very famous Ootty, Kodiakanal, Thekkadi, Silent Valley, Parambikulam national park, Munnar, Chinnar, Kuttalam, Thirunelli, Valpara etc etc all are in these range.
There are only a few notches through which the roads connecting two southmost states. Palghat pass is the widest one and NH47 and railway goes through this. Almost all the other ways are through thicky hill forest and tourists can fulfill their minds with great pleasure. I like very much the travel through this mountaineous roads.
One beautiful and amazing route is `Chalakkudi' - `Pollachi'. Chalakkudi is in Kerala and Pollachi in Tamil Nadu. You can see big group of wild elephants while passing through here. The famous `Athirappalli' waterfall, `Vazhachal', Sholayar dam, Malakkappara Tea estates, Valpara, Aliyar Dam etc are sonses of this path.
A few weeks ago I had a travel through this road and I camped at `Valpara' for a day. I consider the Valpara as Munnar of TamilNadu. I know that Valpara is as beatiful as Munnar of Kerala. But the tourists are not coming much because of the lack of exposure and inconvenience in transportation.)

Strange and intelligent method of telling a story using a photograph. Way to focus!
I don't know if others would like this, but to me, it's a lesson to learn. Thank you.

one of those shots that made you say 'damm that I never thought about that before' but then again, never saw a lot of rain .... nice movement blur or good DOF, no nothing of this here at all, a fine rainscreen blur that makes you look twice to the the bus, the trafic, people waiting while you feel sheltered dry from the monsoon rains in this ritshaw, a fine way to spot this not well known place Valpara, got to look it up to bike once to there, how to get there ?
Original and good capture Pramod !

Wow this is really good stuff. I love the focus, and the idea here is very orginal,it makes the viewer feel that they are dry and inside the vechile, and that little bit of mystery to the blurry images outside.
I've added this one to my favs : )

Very nice composition, Pramod, not just because of the raindrops which distort in a delightful way, but also the thick black letters at the bottom. Well see.

Tout est suggéré dans cette photo. La pluie sur le pare-brise transforme une scčne, certainement banale, en une oeuvre originale et belle. L'essuie-glace apporte un graphisme et une zone plus nette.
