The Palace is a series of large and rambling buildings of fine masonry, built partly by the Nayaks around 1550 AD, and partly by the Marathas.
This is the inside view of the Madamaligai, a tower with six floors. It is believed that this was built by Nayak ruler to enable him worship Sri Ranganatha of Srirangam every mid-day. This many-tiered tower was destroyed by lightning and was subsequently repaired and preserved.

Hello Sridhar, the yellow colouring and the geometry of this shot are very appealing, I like it a lot.
Imo an excellent composition.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Very interesting POV, looking up(?) into the tower makes for a great shot, I like the diminishing perspective, especially as it ends with that black square. The light looks fantastic, the saturated yellow colour of the stones is very attractive. The masonry work does look amazing.
Very good capture, for me your best yet.
