Kollimala is beautiful green mountain near Namakal town of Tamil Nadu.
It has a historical importance. Before AD500 there was a kingdom and famous kings of ancient tamil history `Kari' and `Ori' had ruled there.
This hill is not suitable for tea. But it is a very good agricultural land. There are lots very beautiful locations but not much tourists visited here. We have to drive 70 hairpins to reach the top.
There is very beautiful water fall at the top near `Arapaleeswaran' Temple. But approach to the waterfall is horrible. We have to climb down 700 big steps. I was not fine but i climbed 200 step down and tired. I postponed my attempt ot another day.

That's a good one Pramod, colors are deep nice gradiant mist at the horizont, the blue sky contrasting the deep greens in front as a framing, sharpnes impecable, a pleasing shot to the eye.
Curious, someone wrote once about such a landscape view: this is not typical India ?
How wrong it is, nature in India is a treasure.
(BTW I was asking myself, are you from Tamil Nadu or from Karnatakka ?)

Thankyou for sharing this pretty view with us. I like the way the trees create a natural frame. The interesting branches on the right add to the effect. The blue and green tones complement each other well. Well seen!
