This is a rock memorial built on natural sea-rock emerging from the waters of the Indian Ocean. This monument is built in memory of Swamy Vivekananda, who meditated on this rock for a couple of days, at the southernmost point of India.
The birthday of Swamy Vivekananda is considered as National Youth Day, for the seer is an inspiration to Indians thanks for the power of his speech, deeds and knowledge.

HI Abhijith Shastry!
I loved my stay at Kanyakumari two years ago and here you found a great POV to present us this monument!

Welcome to TE! This memorial is impressive. I like the architecture, but the sea-rock and the natural surroundings are also great. The colors all blend well with nature, too, making this scene a beautiful one. Here is some friendly TE advice: if you write some critiques, more people will be drawn to your gallery. Have fun here!

Kia ora Abhijith,
You have capture all the true elements of this special place. The isolation of the 'rock' within the surrounding seas, taken from a good point of view tells its story. Well done. Cheers, Neil
