Photographer’s Note

I don't know to right a poem for this image, I'm not good in poetry as many do wonderfully here.

Can anyone add a poetry to this image ? I will be happy!

A life coming from light to shadow shot at Underpass Chennai.

We born in Dark, we came out to see the light, we go back to Dark again.

Hello Senthil! I am not so much of a poetry writer so I leave it to other people but you made a good start how we are born and came to the light, and as I have learned that someone I worked with has died some days ago at the age of only 38 your text suits a little bit my mood I am in right now. I find this man looks fragile in a way and he seems almost a little lost within all the concrete. Very good shadow-light-work and the b/w is a very good choice for me. Take care, Barbara.

I hope you will find a poem to this picture. I think that your picture will work really well with it. The light and the shadow of this picture and the man going inside, make us to imagine a lot of things...also, the picture is took in a Tamil area of India. This ethnie has big problems in Sri Lanka, then the metaphore "light and Shadows" can be very strong.

Hi Senthil,
A little bit of more contrast is neded here.
This shot reminds me of one of the shots from the gallery of Cheru, a romanian artist.
Impressive stuff, buddy, but you need to change your notes.
We all come from light.......and return to light.

Interesting take on an old theme. Most similar images show someone from behind entering the light. Very well managed exposure in difficult comditions.

Namaste Senthil,
Some of us are gifted to write poetry with words, others do it with images. A visual poem like this doesn't need poetry in the note.
It's an inspired image. You used smartly the difficult light and the framing effect of the tunnel(?) to produce a strengthful image.

Hey there - interesting people shot of this man walking around hte corner of the tunnel. A good example of dark and light with this shot.

These dark/light, life/death dualities are the reasons why i like so much those "light at the end of the tunnel" photos so much. Excellent counter light situation and it is nice to see the figure's face.

Namaste Senthil. I notice that you have gone into B&W recently and are doing some fine compositions. This is a strong image with its deep shadows and strong light in which the human figure looks somewhat small and fragile. As for your cycle of darkness, light, darkness- there is always Nirvana (a type of non existence while existing- as far as i can fathom its meaning). Regards. Klaudio.
