South India’s street food hub is decidedly Chennai. Roadside eateries or Kai Endhi Bhavans (Instant Street Food Stalls) will definitely tickle every common man’s appetite. In the morning they offer rice based preparations like hot puffy idlis, vada, crispy kal-dosas, poori, hot pongal (kichdi) with tasty side-dishes like vadakari, sambar and chutni. The food is cheap, quick to get and tasty too. I have captured this 'Roadside Street Food Stall' picture in Chennai. Please note that the street food (morning breakfast), instantly cooked by a housewife, is being served to the customers.

While the photo is not of high quality, Muthusamy, it is an interesting subject and a good look at typical Chennai food. It could use some straightening as well. Thanks!
