It is in the heart of man to do all he can for his family and it is that for the villager who craves out a livelihood selling roadside "TENDER COCONUTS". The work to maintain the coconut tree is ever ending and laborious however, in the end the coconuts sold not only provide monies for those who buy them to enjoy but the shells are also sold to brick bakers for fuel thus making each coconut sold a double income. Life is hard but for the man whose family has a roof over their heads, bellies full and smiling faces brings him peace and assurance of a job well done...PEACE AND HARMONY

This is a simple uncomplicated photo that tells us a story about life in Tamil Nadu. The colours and composition are pleasing but the old bike, the men's clothes and the dusty roadside I am sure are very typical of poor, rural India.
