Photographer’s Note

He was sitting with her Mother.His mother a fruit vendor in the roads of Parry's corner.She would be working from morning till evening and reaches her home which again is a dilapidated make-shift tent in another street nearby. For him the life is all in the streets.He eat,sleep,fight,play all in the NSC Bose road of Chennai.His father might be a daily labor or some crooked man who would be spending his all day in the nearby government run Liquor shop in inebriated condition.Whatever it is..He is the next generation of India..looking for a brighter world..Will we be able to give him the Hope?..Not sure..

Hi Nara,

Wonderful expression in the eyes although still a small child.
Great moment to capture and very good choice in choosing the B&W.
The diffused backdrop is also an asset for the picture.

This is a strong portrait, where the expression is well recorded!
Unfortunately this is not a happy face, let us hope the hardships are of a passing character...
