A solitary moment at fishing harbour in Vadakara, Calicut after a brief spell of Rain. Walls have been built from both ends of the land mass to create a sort of artificial lake undisturbed by the tide on the other side. The small opening is from where the catch is brought in and auctioned at the harbour. It is some sight to see tons of fish packed, sold, loaded onto trucks and transported to different part of the City. Even scavengers like the common crow and egrets are choosy here and take only what they like. On my next trip, I will post a picture of that activity!
