Photographer’s Note
A early morning view of Silent Valley,a relatively unknown place in Kerala. The sun has raised. The mist is yet to recede.Late night showers has given a freshness to the forest.
Silent Valley ,formerly known as Sairaindhri forest is one of the cradles of Western Ghats for Lion Tailed Macaques.Due to absence of cicadas which makes the chirping sound, this tropical forest got the name Silent Valley.

Namaste Nara, a good shot in jungle. Great use of low light. Good DOF. The path, the trees and overall the mist... Nice composition. I can smell the wood and the mist here. I have keen interest in Kerala, in future I will certainly visit God's own country. Thank you for sharing this shot.

Hello Nara,
The feeling of rainy season and humid atmosphere is very much present here!
The mood is well conveyed, good repetition effect in the tree trunks...
The dirt track leads nicely into the mystery of the jungle..!
Greetings,
