Photographer’s Note
The Connemara Market, at the north end of Trivandrum (the capital of Kerala) is one of the more interesting markets we've seen. For one thing, people kept coming to me to have their pictures taken. (One butcher even ran after me with his cleaver to get me to take a picture of him; unfortunately, it didn't come out clear.) Lots of the people in the market are like this woman, who find a spot on the ground to sell a few vegetables. (These look like amaranth leaves, but I don't really know. Anybody?)
Technical: A little sharpening and a touch of 81 warming filter.

Good work here, her expression is so natural. However, the two things I would do would be: !. better cropping to leave out the foot 2. a tone darker colors. See my workshop

Hi Daniel
Nice picture showcasing an everyday life scene. I do wish the foot in the top left corner would be cropped out though. And also the colors do look a little flat (maybe because of a harsh unfavorable sun?). The photo also looks a little soft.
Cheers
Vivek
