"It's dawn,my walk at the beach..
Bare footed,the breeze kissing me
Sodden sands oozing between my toes
Like a butterfly I fly along winds..
In the distant, palm lines wave me
Longing to kiss me ,I wave them back..
I planned my weekend at the mountains..
I ended here,the cool feel is so soothing..
Waves feel my thirst and brush aside..
Run, run, and run, my love..
Play in the wet sands, mirages,dreams..
Lay in the beauty and watch the clouds
Kissing your soul,saying "don't miss me.."
Someday, soon a day, I'll find her here
Waiting to hold me, brushing my toes wet...."

SHOT AT PUTHENTHOPE BEACH, TRIVANDRUM.
Puthenthope is a coastal village situated
19 km north west of Thiruvananthapuram
(Trivandrum) City in Kerala, India, 16 km from Trivandrum International Airport. The village
is mostly covered with coconut palms and
cashew trees. Its western side edges with
Arabian sea, while the east is separated by
Parvathi Puthanar, a man made canal completed
during the time of Regent Sethu Lakshmi Bhai of Travancore Kingdom.

It's odd. Your wonderful photo DOES make me miss the ocean. Soft waves or crashing ones. White sands or rocky shores. Sea breezes through palms on the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, or through the pines in Maine. Or the sound of the bow rushing through the Atlantic. A great looking shot Jean Paul. Colors are excellent. The composition, with the tops of the palm trees cut out and nice diagonal lines of beach, grass and sea going through the photo, is just as good. This photo is much more than the technicals though. It gives a sense of peace and tranquility. A place of beauty and that you have captured perfectly.

Bonjour, mon très cher ami Jean-Paul,
Ah ! partir loin, rêver à des paysages exotiques, s'envoler tel l'oiseau migrateur dans des pays tout au bout du monde, s'évader, voir le ciel bleu, la mer, la chaleur. Il y a tout cela dans cette composition. Une jolie tache de couleur pour ce dimanche pluvieux.

I'm a little bit late in commenting this pic,but I saw Lucian's comments-he was the first :)-and after that what more can I comment:)...I would like to add only something about this feeling...missing someone sometimes can be that which reminds us our needs...
A composition very complex,it is like an combination between parallel levels...sky,sea,sand and green grass and the palm trees in foreground make connection for all :)

Belle photo de cette plage avec ses palmiers superbes,ces bateaux, ces filets nous montre bien que la pèche est pratiquée a cet endroit,votre vue nous montre un petit parradi sur terre, mais vous vous savez ce qui s' y passe vraiment, si les gens y sont heureux ou pas.J' ai remarqué que souvent ces gens vivent durement, c' est pour cela que j' essaie de ne plus me plaindre et que je relativise les problèmes. I like the way you're showing this quiet and beautiful beach, with the boat, nets...which I remember in another photo from a closer approach. The palm trees add an exotic feeling and the colors are naturally well rendered.
