Photographer's Note

Yes, its we who were caged, he was free! At Prambikulam Tiger Reserve, after we finished our uneventful safari, we decided to have a quick bite before we left. Close to the information center, was a kind of Canteen run by the Forest Dept where some simple local food was being served (For serious Wildlife enthusiasts, they have an overnight stay package where I am told the food is far better).

Anyway, while we were waiting for the ordered food to be served, I noticed that the whole place was caged to protect visitors from these born opportunists. I found that interesting, the entrance to this small Canteen was thrown open, but they wouldn't enter through a door where there's only one exit! Here's a juvenile Bonnet Macaque eagerly waiting for someone to throw a bite at him.
