This shot was taken in Munnar, Kerala. The whole town and places around are full of these beautiful tea plantations which turn the area into a haven for people seeking refuge from the concrete jungle!

Lovely color and composition. Green tea plant and the clear sky are attractive, but you would have placed this big tree in one of the sides of the frame.

Hi Neelima!
I found your image while searching for Munnar.I`ll be there next january.
Not the best composition with the cut tree in the foreground ,but I like it because of the amazing contrast between green,white and blue.

Hi Neelima! I wouldn't say that you never capture blue skies... you can't get much bluer than this!

It's mainly a matter of exposure - the sky is usually much brighter than the rest of the scene. If you set (or let the camera choose) the exposure for your foreground, the sky is often overexposed, which leaves it white. Reduce the exposure to avoid this: many cameras have an exposure-compensation setting - try something like -1 and see what you get...

Well seen. The clouds do indeed look like they are crouchibg trying not to be seen. Good strong colours and a great mix if curves, diagonals and vertical lines.

Bonjour Neelima,
I like very much this composition quite in curves around these three colors. There is one poetics dialogue between clouds and relief. The graphics is excellent so rhythmical by trees.

Colors here are amazing, contrast between green and blue works heavenly:) To bad you didn't put the big tree somwhere in the side like the others already said..
