Taken during my short visit to my hometown. An early morning scene from the banks of Thanni lake .It was so refreshing to watch sun rising through the line of palms . I enjoyed that morning !
The Kerala backwaters are a chain of brackish lagoons and lakes lying parallel to the Arabian Sea coast (known as the Malabar Coast) of Kerala state in southern India. The network includes five large lakes linked by canals, both manmade and natural, fed by 38 rivers, and extending virtually half the length of Kerala state. |

Hello Radeeh,
I like this well composed shot for the composition, perspective and colors. The bright reflection in the water makes it especially compelling. Finally, your note is informative, and appreciated.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Namaste Radeeh,
Maybe it is 'too simple', maybe the colours aren't so gorgeous for a sunset, but the fact is that I like it very much. I guess it is its mood and the graphics of the compo, although the light and the texture of the clouds are also beautiful.
I would prefer that it hadn't so much noise, notably near the horizon.
Regards, José.
Your hometown (or village) seems idyllic ! The view is really inspiring, once again I'd sharpen a bit more but it is not too disturbing... Why are you describing the Kerala backwaters in your note, as this is a scene from the Thanni lake ? Some similarities, probably ?
Greetings,
Cath.
Beautiful place and I like this play of the light and the shadows around palm trees
For sure one day you will show me those places :)
Hugs
