Looking at you Photo

Photographer’s Note

For the first time I´m going to repost a photo. I do it for several reasons, one of them is today´s photos of Flydragon. Simon, She´s able to look but she stays silence, I think finally life is difficult for both.
Since I did not know very much about scannings, photoshops and so on when I posted I will tell you what I have changed:
I have give it more contrast and definition. I have also balance the colors a bit (Original scanning was a bit cyan). I have reframing a bit.
I post this photo too because lately I´ve seen Quillo´s photo and I felt like I miss India a lot. I went there four time, last one back in 2001. I did not go every year because I think I have to see the world, but I promess you I would do it. Take care.

Impressive portrait, I like the dark background and the expression on her face. She seems to be a little sad.

Hola Miguel,

Me gustan muchas cosas de esta foto. Podría hablar del contraste tan vivo entre su ropa y el fondo, el plano tan cerrado y la homogeneidad del fondo que hace que destaque sobre todo el rostro de esta niña, pero, claro... lo que más me gusta es ella misma. Esos ojos abiertos que expresan muchas cosas pero que, por oscuros, permanecen un tanto indescifrables. Curiosidad, dignidad, una cierta distancia, interés... no sé. Un precioso retrato, digno de ser re-colgado (poco me gusta esta palabra, pero es la que se usa). Gracias. Un beso,

Descubrir el mundo es una buena cosa cuando se sabe hacerlo por supuesto.También ya hice un repost, si es para mejor entonces..En ésta todo está en la mirada, bien jugado miguel..

this is a nice one,beauty and serenity are the 2 words that i am thinking of when i first see this image.
a strong gaze coming out of the dark ,and a good composition.

Tu foto tiene una virtud muy importante: nos enseña que las nuevas tecnologías digitales no son capaces de hacer por ellas mismas una foto.

Una foto que transmite lo que es capaz de transmitir la mirada de esta niña: todo un mundo.

La templanza en el gesto y la mirada me han impresionado, la elegancia en la pose con esa mano apoyada en la puerta que se diría corresponde a una Reina. Me encanta.

Es un retrato magnífico, .. ¿LA LUZ? ¿LA INDIA?

Preciosa foto Miguel . Admiro realmente el retrato en la fotografia . Para mi es muy dificil , puedo gastar mil fotos y ninguna me convence . Anette me lleva mas ventaja en eso .
Me gusta la expresion de la chica , el fondo oscuro que dramatiza la foto y el tremendo contraste con ese blanco tan aplastante . La explicacion de Angelillo para esta foto me parece estupenda , no se podria definir mejor . Un abrazo y me alegro de que hayas bajado fotos de este estilo , me gustan !

Hola Miguel, this is a beautiful portrait, and without reading your note, one would say that she is a bit shy, but it all has to do with the fact (I think)that she can't express herself with words. This is an honest and tender portrait, friend!
