When we were on our boat trip we came across this boat called the titanic, which was a little ironic for me as all the boat men were in the water and the boat was practically at water level and looked as if it could submerge at any moment.

I love your picture! It look like a very old one! I don't know how you managed your B&W, but it give a very special mood to the view.
And of course, the name of the boat and your note are funny!
Bravo et merci.

Smart composition, b&w works pretty well here. Well done, indeed. Regards LA.

nie concept here. It really is good!
I like how you managed the colors and the tones and also how everything is not sharp. All combined together (with the expression of the men) gives an interesting mood to your picture!
(I wish you inspiration for your exhibition next december)

I'm not usually a big fan of sepia and desaturation, but in this case I think it works extremely well.
As others have said, this image looks antique, like something from the early days of photography. It actually reminds me of old postcards I've seen, created by Europeans but featuring far-off "exotic" places. (Here is one from Tahiti for instance, taken in 1908, that has a similar palm tree horizon.)
And of course the fact that these fellows have named their boat the Titanic is great. Not only does it relate to the original Titanic, but in means "huge" or "very large," and their boat is so small, just a large canoe. You did a good job of spotting the name at all, by the way, since the lettering is rather small as well.
Finally, I'm not sure if it's depth of field or if it's just mist, but the fact that the row of palm trees is slightly out of focus while the foreground is in sharper focus works very nicely.
Overall, really nice.

Very humourous picture indeed. Sepia seems the perfect choice. Well Done!

I like this ironic picture! Very humourous! Because of the size of the boat (there is no comparison between the steamer and this boat!) and because it's almost sinking! Very great glance! And the sepia adds some old charm to this photo

i am missing the ice-berg here, because of titanic, an also Leanardo and Cate :D, but it is impossible in tropical weather xixi. I like the B&W idea, maybe the trees should be little bit sharper. However i like this picture...
Have a nice day
