Photographer's Note

The jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus or A. heterophylla[1]) is a species of tree in the mulberry family (Moraceae), which is native to parts of Southern and Southeast Asia. It is the national fruit of Bangladesh.
The name "Jack fruit" is derived from the Portuguese Jaca,[4] which in turn, is derived from kerala's Malayalam language term, Chakka.[5] The Portuguese first arrived in India at Cochin on the Malabar Coast. The Malayalam name Chakka was recorded by Hendrik van Rheede (16781703) in the Hortus Malabaricus,
