Well, you are looking at the Asia's biggest Arch Dam(555 feet high) proudly standing between the two mountains - 'Kuravanmala' (839 meters) and 'Kurathimala' (925 meters ).It is situated in Idukki district in Kerala( Southern India) and its construction began on 30 April 1969.
