Hi Neeth, a slightly late welcome to TE. At a rough guess, about 1 in 20 photos on TE is of a sunrise or sunset. So a sunset has to be very good in order to succeed. I'm afraid yours doesn't for several reasons: firstly, the sunset itself is nothing special; secondly, the horizon is not level; thirdly, the composition of the people on the beach is not strong - am I meant to look at the man in the white shirt, the men in the sea, or the people passing with the cart? There is no strong focal point; fourthly, the date stamp is distracting and unattractive. Please don't take my comments personally as I mean them to be constructive and helpful to you. I look forward to seeing more of your work. I'm very sorry that I can't award a smiley this time. Stephen

Nice colours of sunset but the date and time stamp shouldn't be there first (this is unacceptable for a picture on display!) and you should work more for a better composition, focusing on the subject and removing disturbing facts form the main subject -like the people on the right of the picture-. Also the horizon should be level. I strongly believe we will see your better pictures soon if you take these critics positively and work for improving day by day. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Neeth,
Stephan and Behcet have given a good intro to some DOs and DONTs in photography.
Great to see the critiques being taken positively, and this you would remember when you take your next pic... I did a little workshop on your image.... that was the best I could do...
Hope to see more pics from you... Maybe you can join our Emirates Airline Photography Club...
